Execution

How we do it

Our services are built to empower non-profit organizations by producing high-quality videos and media solutions which they can use to elevate their mission.

Who we are

We understand the non-profit community: Our team has a deep respect and connection for non-profits who are dedicated to making a difference, ensuring your story is told with sensitivity and accuracy.

What do I need to apply?

If approved, what do I have to do?

How can I get started with my nonprofit foundation?

Contact our team to discuss your vision and goals. We will send you a form to fill out that helps us to get a comprehensive picture of who you are and the level of impact our storytelling services will help your organization as a whole.

Is there a wait list?

We do have a wait list and you are not guaranteed our services after submitting an application. Our team will review all applications and award organizations our storytelling service based on the level of need, projected impact and available funds.

What do I need to apply?

Throughout the application process, we will collect your organization information, project details, timeline and projected impact.

How is this funded?

We are 100% funded by donations. We are as small as you can get for a non-profit, however, 100% of all donations go directly toward fulfilling storytelling services for our program recipients.

What do I do after my story is told?

Our organization can only exist and grow through your partnership. This means that if you are awarded our storytelling services, we expect your full cooperation with a media release schedule and our creative control over all deliverables. For example, final videos will include the Poor Bear Stories Foundation logo with special thanks to donors who made the video a possibility.

The Poor Bear Stories Foundation, a 501(c)(3) built on a mission of preserving meaningful stories, generously partnered with Off R Rocker to create a mini-documentary that showcases the heart of our work.

Their team joined us on-site at the OFF R ROCKER B3 Rodeo, setting up cameras, interviewing our young athletes, and spending real time learning who these kids are and why our mission matters. What they captured is more than footage—it’s the spirit of determination, community, and opportunity that Off R Rocker works to provide for rodeo youth.

Poor Bear Stories Foundation offered their time, talent, and production expertise completely pro bono, allowing us to share our story in a way we never could have accomplished alone. Their dedication to lifting up nonprofits and giving a voice to the people we serve shines through every moment of the film.

This mini-documentary is available across Off R Rocker’s platforms for our supporters, partners, and future donors to experience.

Poor Bear Stories Foundation’s unwavering commitment to impactful storytelling is truly inspiring, and we are deeply grateful for their generosity and belief in our mission.

Partnering with Poor Bear Stories Foundation and Jacob Centeno to tell the San Diego Nice Guys story has been transformative.

Jacob listened deeply and created cinematic, authentic videos that elevate our mission. The production quality is outstanding, and the stories have boosted outreach, volunteers, and donor engagement. A standout moment was when Jacob’s travel was canceled; he scrambled to arrange a local videographer to cover the event, ensuring seamless coverage.

We wholeheartedly recommend them to any nonprofit seeking warmth, professionalism, and real impact.

Poor Bear Stories Foundation, a 501c3 created and operated by Gold Star families, recently produced the inaugural Hero Games Charity mini-documentary pro bono.

This film offers an intimate look into the 2024 Hero Games, an endurance event honoring SGT Robert Sanchez, with his family actively participating.

Poor Bear Stories Foundation’ commitment to amplifying the voices of those who serve and the families who support them is evident in their work.

The mini-documentary is available on the Hero Games Charity YouTube channel.

Poor Bear Stories Foundation’ dedication to honoring the sacrifices of military families through compelling storytelling is truly commendable.
